First Morsel — Terms of Use (Beta)
Effective: 1 July 2026. By using First Morsel during the private beta, you agree to these terms.
1. What First Morsel is — and is not — First Morsel provides general, informational guidance to help you plan your baby's solid foods. It is NOT medical advice and is not a substitute for your paediatrician or a qualified health professional. Every baby is different. You are responsible for your child's safety and food choices.
2. Allergies, choking and safety — important — Introducing foods, especially common allergens, carries risk. Our allergen and texture/choking guidance is general and may not fit your child. Before introducing allergens — and especially if your child has eczema, a prior reaction, or a known egg or peanut allergy — consult your paediatrician. Always supervise your baby while eating, follow safe-preparation guidance, and if you suspect an allergic reaction or a choking emergency, stop and seek medical help immediately. Consult your paediatrician if you have any doubts.
3. Eligibility — You must be an adult parent or caregiver acting for your own child (or with the guardian's authority).
4. Beta — provided "as is" — Free, early-stage software provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. It may contain errors, change, or be interrupted or discontinued, and beta data may be reset. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from use of the beta. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including for matters relating to personal safety or our own negligence).
5. Acceptable use — Use First Morsel only for its intended purpose; don't misuse, copy, scrape, or attempt to break or access others' data.
6. Your content & our content — You keep ownership of the information you enter. First Morsel's content, recipes and software remain ours; we grant you a personal, limited right to use them for your own family during the beta.
7. Accounts & ending use — Keep your sign-in secure. You may stop using First Morsel and delete your account anytime (account settings or support@firstmorsel.in); we may suspend access to protect the service or for misuse.
8. Changes — We may update these terms during the beta and note the effective date.
9. Governing law & contact — Governed by the laws of India (registered state to be finalised at public launch). Contact: support@firstmorsel.in.
First Morsel offers general guidance, not medical advice — consult your paediatrician if you have any doubts, especially around allergies, reflux, low weight gain, or any feeding difficulty.
